Oregano oil contains carvacrol and thymol, two of the most studied plant antimicrobials. In laboratory (in-vitro) studies they inhibit dermatophytes — the fungi that cause most nail infections.
In-vitro activity means the compound kills fungus in a dish. It does not prove that a swallowed capsule delivers enough carvacrol to an established nail infection, which sits in poorly-perfused tissue. Human nail-clearance trials are lacking.
Oregano is a lead ingredient in Nail Exodus, chosen for this laboratory evidence. We present it honestly, not as a proven cure.
